There are hundreds of criminal offenses in Oklahoma for which a person could be charged. I have represented clients for a wide variety of charges, some much more serious than others. Obviously, I can’t include discussions of all of the different criminal offenses, but I represent people for offenses other than those discussed here. I understand that all too often people are charged with crimes that they did not commit. I do my best to not pre-judge a person based on what they are accused of doing.
Fortunately, in this country you are presumed to be innocent until you are proven guilty. Although some do not operate on that principle, I see it as my duty to remember that a presumption of innocence attaches to anyone accused of a crime. I also see it as my duty when I represent someone charged with a crime to remind others, such as prosecutors and judges, that my client is presumed to be innocent. If you would like to discuss your matter with me, call me and I will consult with you at no charge.
I will generally agree to represent prospective clients, but I have the right to refer anyone to alternate counsel if I do not wish to handle their matter.
